A Medusa of the deep...yet another reason to make me afraid of swimming in the ocean. :P The character reminds me of an Angler fish in the sense that she seems alluring and deadly at the same time. Great concept and coloring, and I especially love the design of the trident. Great work. :blowkiss:

Those eels on her head remind me of the ones from The Little Mermaid that that queen used. That's cool with the webbed area under her arms that you got the see through and everything, and it is a really good see through effect you have going there for the most part. The effect isn't as good when you get to the ears though. The hand webbing too, it's kinda hard to see, but that might be better, less light hitting it less defined the background behind it. The staff still looks kinda rough though till you get to the head of it, then you get that really nice shine effect and the rest of it looks spectactular. Interesting background you chose. A swampy, sewery, dungeony feel to it. That moss was a good addition, would've made it more realistic to add it to the waterline area on the walls and gate, and then adding it sparingly to the random areas on the walls and gate. Also, as it's titled Serpentqueen, I would've thought her eyes would've been better as a vertical slit than round. Also that water effect on her legs, I think water stained would've been better than water shine, though it's cool to see that you actually thought about that aspect. All in all I like the colors you used, combined really well with the vein effect you have on the skin, the environment worked well with your character, the picture came out really good. You do some nice work.

Working on a Browsergame project but I'm planing to do some comisson work for my fellow deviants after that to increase my ability of creating characters within a given frame..because that's what it's basically all about in the conceptart and illustrator business :)
