Well I painted a female character which shall represent the daughter of Boba Fett (yes, he had a daughter) Ailyn Vel if she wouldn't have been killed in her young years.
Didn't want to point out the obvious stuff like boobs hanging out or pants pulled all up her ass making it kinda skinny-fit looking or hair floating around giving it this romantic look which I feel is kind of inappropriate around this figure. But you know what... I probably might stick to that since it's not to obvious at the first glance that she's female. Hope you still like it.
I think one of the best aspects of the design is that it makes you wonder if it's a woman or man. It also adds to the story of her bounty hunter character-she probably does not want to be seen or perceived as any other woman, but as a warrior, a killer, a hunter, etc.
I love this idea, and its nice to see someone really thinking about designing a woman without falling back on those exhausted concepts. On top of that, this is just a cool picture. The pose and the tone are just about perfect.
If you're wearing battle armor, the sex of the person shouldn't be the first thing you notice. It is a horrid trend amongst artists on DA to draw these battle harden warrior women in bikinis. I mean seriously, who would go into combat with their mid-rift open and their boobs hanging out. This is a great piece and a great example of truth in advertising. If I saw her coming at me, I'd be looking for where her blaster was pointing, not whether or not she has a nice rack.
wirklich geil!
